Welcome to the official Adrian and the Sickness website.
Here's the latest news...

May 5, 2013

Adrian here with some sad news. Heather Webb has decided to quit playing in Adrian and the Sickness. Heather has been integral to the band since I started making music in Austin TX. She has shared her talent for design by being the creator of our website, cd covers, flyers and video blogs. She graced us with her special sense of humor and wonderful ear for bass playing for ten years. I wish Heather well in all her endeavors. She will be missed. Please take a minute to read her farewell message to you, the fans. And please stay in touch with all her future projects.
The MUSIC is not over. The new album "Be Your Own Savior" is finished, waiting to be heard and adored. Actual release is TBA. Keep an eye out for our June shows in Austin, West Texas and Seattle. Heather's last show is June 14th at the ROT Rally.

Dance or sing real loud more often!

Hey guys and gals. It's me, Heather Webb. I'm the chick who's been playing the bass and doing the website and videos for just shy of 10 years. Well, maybe you heard, maybe you haven't, but I will no longer be a part of Adrian and the Sickness. I gotta be honest. It was an incredible life experience and I'm super sad to let it go. But, you know, progress doesn't happen without change and this is my time for change.

I want to thank all of you so much for being a part of this experience with me, because you, the fans, are the reason I do it. You people have bought CDs, T-Shirts, played our music for your friends, donated to our tour fund when we were stranded on the road, and driven hundreds of miles in the snow to come to shows. Without you, this amazing adventure wouldn't have happened. I'm so lucky to have met tons of cool and interesting people from all over the US and the world, and I sincerely hope that we will meet again.

I strongly encourage you to continue to support Adrian, as she will still be carrying on with her mission, and she needs your help to keep her dream alive. And if you like what I've done in the band over the years or you just want to keep track in case someone says, "Hey, whatever happened to that bass-playing chick from Adrian and the Sickness," you can stay in touch with me through my website, www.heatherwebb.com, my youtube page, www.youtube.com/heatherwebb, and of course www.facebook.com/heathermwebb. I'll be putting out video blogs again, starting a new website www.theamazinghealthblog.com, working on some big festival shows, like BugFest, the hit heavy metal pool party we threw for SXSW'13, playing in various bands around Austin, and who knows? Maybe I'll be hitting the road one day with my own original project. I'm discovering that I'm not just Adrian's bass-player, I'm an artist in my own right, and I have the power to make my own dreams come true.

So, I'll take another sip of this Ste. Genevieve and say one more very sincere, "thank you."

Salud! Here's to the end of an era and the beginning of a future.

'Til we meet again.
Heather Webb
